Chris McCormack Profile

Chris, known to the world as Macca, entered the pro triathlon circuit in 1996. He started focusing on Ironman racing in 2002. After several attempts, he won the Ironman World Championship in Hawaii in 2007. It was his 2006 championship race, however, that was the most exciting. He started the run 10 minutes behind Norman Stadler and just missed catching him by 71 seconds. Watching the spit dry around his mouth as he pushed himself to the limit on this run makes Macca one of our Hot Triathletes.
